One night last week during dinner, Katie asked Eric for a bite of his cheesy potatoes. As she's gotten older, one thing that really sucks is when she wants to try something that's not safe for her. Our allergist had told us to try dairy after her second bday whenever we felt comfortable. So that's what we did...a couple bites of cheesy potatoes and a couple M&Ms and no reaction! The next night, a bit of shredded cheese! We're taking things slow but are very optimistic! There are so many more gluten free options available to her if she can have dairy!
Now that I'm feeling better, Eric and I finally got to go out for our anniversary! We had dinner at Logan's, bought the kids a bunch of clothes at TCP and did a little bargain shopping!
Target was $17.71. The big portion of that was the Elefun game which was $9 after my coupon. Bugs will get it for Xmas this year.
The next morning, we had some special one on one time with Katie. With my difficult recovery, we had put off her 2 yr pics. We went to Portrait Innovations and got some great pictures, Green Acres for gluten free mac and cheese, Walmart for a few groceries and finally Cold Stone! Yummy! It's a little soon for that much dairy, but she was very happy to have her OWN cup of sorbet.

I think it was really good for her to have some time alone with us. She's a pretty high needs little lady as it is and the new baby hasn't exactly made her easier to handle. We're definitely going to have to "treat" her on a regular basis!

Oh my goodnessss I LOVE her skirt and tights! ADORABLE!!!
I'm always AMAZED at how much money you save! I try the coupon thing but always feel like I end up spending MORE :-) I could never get all of that stuff for only 85 Cents!
Glad Katie got some one-on-one time... I'm sure its just what she needed!
YAY for Katie being able to enjoy dairy products! That is awesome!!!
LOVE that lollipop shirt! How adorable :) AND as always...great job on the couponing. I'm still waiting for open enrollment to your couponing 101 class! I have a LOT to learn. I'm like Brandy...I just feel like I end up spending more, or buying things we totally don't need!
I miss my Buggy! Luv her pictures, but she'd be CUTE in anything!! Her eating her sorbet was so precious!! :)
