I'm sad to leave my wonderful laminate floors, but I'm most bummed to leave our garden. Eric and Kelton have put so much work into it. I don't think we're going to get to pick any corn before we leave, but I know we'll get plenty of onions, potatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes and probably peppers.
I love getting mail. That must be something you never grow out of, because it's still totally fun even when you're old. We got this box in the mail from Carrie on Tues. I could smell the coffee beans before I even got the mail box open. I cannot wait to try the gluten free cinnamon roll mix, but I think I'll wait until we have a day where the high is less than 100 to turn my oven on. You know I'll put those Gymbo coupons to use and the little baby card she made about had me crying.
I've decided to start weaning Katie now so that we can take it really slowly. I'm not pumping anymore, so she gets 100% coconut milk in her bottle or sippy. We're lucky we have that alternative. We buy the original. I think because it's very slightly sweetened, it's a lot like breastmilk, which also has a sweet taste. I won't lie, I'm extremely excited at the prospect of eating normally again.
Right now I'm just eating whatever sounds good, which includes subway veggie delight for breakfast, graham crackers with frosting for dinner, peanut butter smeared on frosted mini wheats for lunch. I cannot wait until this passes as I've had some pretty rough days.
I've linked to my sister in law, Carrie, several times, but my mother in law, Yvette, is blogging now too. Check it out!
Tomorrow is weigh day for Katie. She was 19lbs 1oz last month and I really feel like she's gaining, so I'm hoping for 20+lbs! Keep your fingers crossed.

I'm so super excited about your new house!! It's sad to leave your garden behind though. Maybe the new owners will be nice and let you have some of your corn after it comes in!
Only 237 days left until Feb 18th! Yes, I'm counting already.
I am so excited for you, yes God was watching out for you guys with the whole housing thing. Praise the Lord.
I agree with Lisa I hope the new owners will let you come get your corn. I hope your MS gets better and you can eat more soon. But it does sound like some amazing meals already. ;)
Congrats to you guys! I am super jealous...we would so love to sell our house, but for various reasons it just isn't an option...
I would hope also that the new owners would share your corn too!
CONGRATS!! That's awesome that your house went that fast. Good luck with the new place and moving :)
The meals are a little "unusual" but you know - whatever you can keep down and smells okay. That was my big thing - the smell. That must be where Eric gets that from. Glad everything is moving along so well on the houses. Keep me informed - can you believe that you and Carrie inspired me - Mine is grossly inadequate compared to you and Carrie. Feel Better soon!
We will just have to make a midnight corn heist! And since we will be up we can go to winfield and leave some flaming poo! That always makes people feel better!
Your garden looks awesome...ours is just starting out. We have picked a few radishes and our green beans are aout 6 inches tall. Hope you feel better soon!
I agree with Sarah... just go steal it in the middle of the night!! :P
