Halloween Happenings

Eric's parents grew a ton of pumpkins again this year.  Eric and Konny were back for a weekend and got to help pick them.  There were ones bigger than him!  Kelton was visiting his other family and Katie and I stayed home for her to run her first 5K.  It was more of a run/walk of course and I may have carried her on my back for about 50 yds.  LOL!   But we had a great time and the boys brought us back plenty of pumpkins!

Katie and Kelton each carved faces.  Katie's even had a bow!  Konnor and Eric carved transformers faces and I carved the Browning logo.  That night, we broke out the matching jammies!

Halloween was super busy as always.  I had lunch with Kelton's class.  Then we had Katie's class party.  Afterwards we went to the nursing home again to hand out mini muffins to the residents.

Jason, Dolly, Braylee and new Mr Super Cute Leyton came to trick or treat with us again.  We love having them and I made a big pot of what I've started calling Halloween stew since I make it every Halloween.  Find the recipe HERE.

That was Katie's little pumpkin beanie, then Konny's, then we passed it to Braylee and now little Leyton is wearing it!

Kelton's best buddy, Andrew joined us again also.  Maybe next year, I need to get him some skeleton jammies too!   After the littles were done trick or treating, the boys went back out for more.  Can't believe they're old enough to do that!

Of course, we needed matching jammies pictures.  The kids enjoyed not having to rush to bed because Mulvane didn't have school the next day!  Genius!
