Taylor Swift Concert

Way back in December, my friend Lisa and I were able to get fabulous tickets to take the girls to Taylor Swift this summer.  Lisa really gets most of the credit, she was poised and ready, snatching them up as soon as they went on sale.  Shortly after the tickets were purchased, we found some dresses that would be perfect for the girls to wear to the concert.

Then we waited.  And waited.  Eight whole months!

Finally the big day arrived.
So we treated the girls to a lunch date and manicures.

Then it was time to tell them the exciting news!

They could not wait to get the dresses on!  Then the posing began.  They were hilarious!

We got there early and took pictures with Taylor's trailer.  The girls wanted to pose by every sign of Taylor they could find.  There was also a bunch of her costumes on display from music videos which really fascinated them!

After making sure we saw absolutely everything, we found our seats.  They were so close to the stage!!

The first opening act was Casey James from America Idol.  So cool!  Katie liked dancing to his music.

 Next up was Ed Sheeran.

Then we got a little bored waiting for Taylor to come out.

Then we saw Taylor's mom walk by and the girls got to meet her!

The girls were getting super anxious!

Then is was finally time!!!

I do have to admit, it was a good show!  The girls absolutely loved it and we were so glad that we were able to take them!  It's so fun that Katie and Savannah are such great little friends, even though we don't have playdates nearly as often as we'd like.

Thankfully, I was off the next day so we could sleep in.  I figured Miss Katie would be tired since she fell asleep in the car on the way home.  That's not Katie's style though, she was wide awake by 7am the next day!  I couldn't believe it when she didn't nap either.  Finally, she caved and put herself to bed at 5pm and slept though the night!  Poor tired girl!  I know I certainly wasn't feeling 22, definitely all of 32!
