I planned on this cooking all day but it was definitely done after 5 hours. This is our first crock meal that wasn't a super duper hit. It just felt like it was missing something for us. We didn't do the lime squeeze, so maybe that was it. E thinks it would be yummy rolled in tortilla (what isn't?). I put some shredded cheese on Kelton's and he cleaned his plate declaring that it was awesome. I'm not sure we'll try this one again.
Today, I threw in some leftover smoked pork from our Memorial Day BBQ. I covered it in bbq sauce and let it simmer. Heaven! I think I could eat pulled pork sandwiches every. single. day. Good thing bbq sauce is always nearly free in the summer time!
While I was getting the crock ready, I laid Konnor down for some tummy time. When I looked around the corner, he had scooted up, knocked over his mirror, rolled over and was watching Say Yes to the Dress. The boy knows good TV!!
After Kon's PT appt this morning, we ran to Target. They're having some great gift card deals this week and I really wanted to take advantage of them. Here's my haul. I spent $32.40 for all of this!! Woot Woot!! I'm not sure what my exact savings were since Konnor was screaming his head off the entire time I was checking out and a couple of my receipts got left there.
but how could I be mad at this face?
At Walgreen's this week, I got a great deal on Oxiclean power pks. They're on sale for $2.99, use the $2/1 From the 4/25/10 SS to get them for .99 each!! There was also a $3/2 in the 5/23/10 SS that would make them $1.49 each.
I don't think I'll be crocking tomorrow, but there is a couple things I want to try over the weekend. And we're planning a little surprise for Buggy on Saturday!!

You get the best deals! I wish I had the patience and time to dig for deals like that. I find them hard to come by around here.
