Hello Sweet Sweet Summer!

Kelton is finally out of school and we are so excited to have him home! I can't believe the year has already flown by and my big guy is going into 4th grade. He's changing and growing so fast and I feel like I want to just hold on and never let go.  It seems like I'm going to blink and he'll be in high school.

See what I mean....

On our last Wed to pick up boxtops, we gave the secretaries a little gift and one for Kelton's teacher too.  Katie and Konnor had fun handing them out.

On Kelton's first day out of school, we went to Target for Starbucks and then headed to the park for a picnic.  Unfortunately, it was windy and chilly.  Our lunch kept blowing away!

They still had plenty of fun running and playing while we were there though.

Duck duck goose, anyone?

Baby Scarlett was not pleased with the weather at all.

It's not summer without popsicles, right?  Our first batch was pineapple strawberry banana yogurt.  We've already eaten all those and are half way through a batch of banana chocolate chip.  The kids are excited to try a new flavor this week.  We typically make them in the morning and they're frozen by the afternoon, but I really kind of want one of those 10 min popsicles makers.

We've been slow blessed to avoid the recent severe weather that's blasted Oklahoma.  We've had mild temps and even some rain!

Summer is going to be so fun.  This week, we'll be heading to the library to sign up for the summer program and swimming lessons start too!  I don't even want to think about how quickly it will fly by and not only Kelton will head off to school, but Katie too.
