our playset began to take shape!
Eric and Bruce worked hard at it all day. Pete stopped by to lend a hand also. By late afternoon, it was really starting to look awesome!
Eric and his masterpiece. The playset was a really big deal for him, he's been so excited to build this for the kids. He ordered all the parts way back in January.
After my 4 store shopping adventure last Sunday, I did end up stopping at Target again for more diapers since the deal was unbeatable (and Eric was craving tortillas). I happened to get my hands on some great coupons for Sudafed, which just happened on sale at Walgreens so I had to make one more trip there as well.
Yesterday I went to Dillons for basics like milk, bread, eggs...frozen yogurt and a bunch of fresh produce. No picture, but we have everything we'll need for the week for $40.40. My coupon savings was $56.87.
Konnor is still cute as a button. Pretty much a bad sleeper, but it's hard to be too upset about it because he's so content and happy otherwise.
He had an appt today with our ped because I've been noticing for a few wks now that more often than not, his head is kinked to the left. It's not all the time and I managed to convince myself it was nothing. However, he's also not making any attempt to pick his head up during tummy time. He's not floppy though and holds it fine when sitting on my lap, but will not pick it up at all when he's on his tummy. I've yet to have my mommy instincts fail me, so I made an appt to have it checked out and does look like he has a mild torticollis. We have our first PT appt for this on the 13th. No big deal, but I am pushing back his 3mo pics a week or two so that he'll have a straight neck when we go.
And finally Katie continues to make my days totally
Weather permitting, our house is getting painted this week! We have a date night scheduled for the 15th and I promise to get my couponing blog posted soon!

WOW! That is an awesome playset! There are so many cool things on it...I would have fun! I've heard those things are a ton of work. It was nice you have family to help, and a great weekend to do it!
