Crockpot Day 5 and Mail!!

Here's the mail, it never fails, it makes me wanna wag my tail, when it comes I wanna yell......MAIL!!!

Ok then. Kelton used to love Blue's Clues. Katie hasn't discovered it yet. Maybe it's time to introduce her because it is one of the more tolerable toddler shows.

I love the mail! I look forward to getting it everyday. There's almost always something fun like a new magazine, catalog, coupons or samples. The last 2 wks have been awesome for samples! I've gotten all of this stuff and most of the time, it comes with a coupon as well!

We had grilled burgers for dinner tonight, so in the crock we needed a side dish and green beans and potatoes did just the trick! I used fresh green beans (mine were fresh that had been blanched and frozen), potatoes, an onion, and some bacon. I threw it all in the crockpot, poured in a cup of water, and sprinkled in some california garlic salt.

It cooked on low for about 5 hours,
smelled great, and was super delicious.

Once again there was TONS left over, which really could get wasteful unless you switch up your meals enough to be able to use all the leftovers. It definitely takes some planning. Tomorrow, we're having breakfast!! Can't wait!

YUM, I love green beans with potatoes and onions. I really love anything with onion :) You are doing AWESOME at not only doing the crockpot thing everyday, but keeping up with blogging about it! It's FUN!

Your mail looks like fun too! I was signing up for lots of samples a few months ago, but haven't in a while. I need to do that again.
