The House is Painted!

The weather cooperated long enough Mon and Tue for our house to get painted. Andy Mackey Painting did an awesome job, so before they left I made them some cookies. :-)

Before. White with grey trim. I hated it.

After. Off white with tan trim. Totally love it!

The kids, of course, are totally enjoying their new swing set!

Baby Kon has been borrowing some more outfits that used to belong to Moosey or Bugs. This sleeper and bib was Kelton's. I have absolutely no idea how I kept it so white.

This outfit was Katie's. I was pg with her when I found it at Old Navy. It's obviously for a boy, but she looked really cute in it with a bow and trumpette socks.

Koggle and Daddy usually enjoy a little man time in the evenings after the other kids are in bed. I'm so glad Eric's getting to experience a baby that doesn't cry 24/7.

Got an order of hairbows in this week. I pretty much hate the 100 degree days of summer, but I love all the cute sundresses Miss Katie wears. She's becoming quite the little princess, loves wearing tutus, always insists on a bow and likes to have her fingernails painted.

On Tue, I put a pork roast and veggies in the crockpot for dinner. I sent this picture to Eric via text to make his mouth water.

I love using my crockpot because dinner is ready in the evenings with very minimal work on my part. I decided I wanted to try using my crockpot for an entire week and if that goes well, maybe an entire month! It's going to take a little extra menu planning on my part because I don't want to blow our grocery budget. I found an awesome blog called A Year of Slowcooking. She used her crockpot everyday for a whole year!! All her recipes are also gluten free! Score! This is going to be fun!

1 thing that will make crockpots rock even more are the Reynolds Crock Pot bags. They take all the cleaning and scrubbing out of the mix after dinner is served. Konnor is getting so big, I just want to pinch those cheeks. And the house looks great!
