I substituted Namaste Perfect Flour Blend and decided to use a loaf pan in my 6 qt crock since it worked so well for when I mademeat loaf last week.
I threw it all together and cooked on high for 5 hrs. Obviously this would have cooked more quickly if poured directly into the crock. I just kept an eye on it and turned it off when it pulled away from the sides and toothpick came out clean.
Do I even need to say everyone loved it? Delicious and we have so many berries left, I might be making it again on Friday!
I went to Target last week too and picked up this stuff for $14.43. I've gotten such great deals on wipes lately, I'm going to be pouty if I ever have to pay more than pennies for them ever again.
Poor Kelton's allergies have been killer lately with his eyes swelling nearly shut. (I can't believe we didn't take a picture!) It's seasonal but we're thinking he might have eaten a strawberry with some mold spores to have that severe of rxn.
We're also dealing with the inevitable....Konnor is reacting to dairy. I had sensed it quite some time ago and drastically decreased my dairy intake, then ate ice cream several times last week. Over the weekend, he became very screamy and showing symptoms of reflux. It doesn't appear nearly as severe as Katie's and I don't think will need medicated if I manage my diet correctly. Please join me in praying that he outgrows this by at least a year old so that when he's eating solids, he'll be able to follow a normal diet.
except upright on Mommy's chest.
One good thing about Katie's stall in growth last year is that 95% of her dresses from last year still fit....not that it stopped me from buying new ones this year. :-)
E got my new file cabinet put together on Monday and I've been working on organizing that area of the basement in my little bits of spare time. I could organize all day! I love it! I saw a woman on Wife Swap once that was a professional organizer and she carried a label maker in a tool belt! She is my hero!
There's no before picture of the inside because it had gotten really bad!! The computer desk still needs some work, but I'm going to sleep good tonight with the file cabinets all neat and tidy with fresh labels! When Eric got his first file cabinet, I fixed it all up for him too. Crazy how that was over 4yrs ago but it doesn't seem nearly that long!
Lastly, it's amazing how the kids know just when it's time to stop pressing my buttons and do something to remind me how extremely blessed I really am.

I absolutely love the video clip. That is so sweet! Kelton teaching sister, and Konnor watching the whole thing!! God is good!!!
Forgot to say, that labeler has been used well over the years! :) I love mine too and use it every week!
You can come to my house and organize anytime!! Maybe I will get motivated to finally go through some of my kitchen cabinets this week.
Hope Konner gets to sleeping and feeling better.
I have had to buy Mya 12 month shorts this season to wear she is so darn skinny! She too can fit some of her dresses from last year. OH, our girls!!
I miss our chats over lunch breaks! I may just have to stop by one of these days just to feed Macy a bottle and talk!
Also, I'm praying for you and Konnor's lactose intolerance. I'm sure you're missing your ice cream!!
I know all about the diary allergy. My oldest was allergic to everything and I couldn't eat anything or she would be up all night. I'm so sorry. Diary allergies are the worse. I'm afraid to tell you that I had to start drinking soy for awhile. Anyways I like your blog and thanks for stopping by mine. Have a great weekend.
just made that blueberry cake and it turned out great! Your kids are too cute! Thanks for sharing!
